I was born in 1963 and the oil crisis in the seventies made a big impression on me. However, not that long after, the ‘crisis’ seemed to have disappeared and right now, in 2022, it seems there is plenty of oil for all of our (the whole world) needs.
And yes, agree, we may need to do something about the way we are consuming the resources of the world. But is the ‘climate crisis’ really a crisis as, well, yes, who, well, they make us believe?
Humanity always has had challenges with drought, with flooding, with volcanic eruptions, with cold, with heat, with tsunamis, with well, whatever. And we always found ways. Or we were just powerless.
