Remark: for now I will keep this site basically in English, even though my main project right now is focused on The Netherlands. Of course the “Akte van Verlating v2.0” itself is in Dutch.
Introduction
I am a doer and a bit a chaotic person, so often when starting a project or working on a project I do a lot of things at the same time without really finishing anything, or using any structure. It’s just the way I normally work and it works fine for me. I once learned there are two types of people: the ones like me, chaotic, and the more structured type. At first I felt a bit embarrassed, as structured and disciplined seems to be a ‘better’ way of doing things. However, I learned that in the end the result of both ways are just the same. Both types of people can produce results. Only one problem and that is that a chaotic type of person has a hard time working with a structured type person and vice versa.
Anyhow, I will use this page to create some structure for my project, for the pages that I made for the “Akte van Verlating v2.0”.
Pages
While my ideas slowly came up I made the following pages:
- I started realizing The Netherlands is in financial trouble. More and more people cannot pay their bills anymore, so I started with a financial action plan.
- Later I realized it is not only about financial trouble, so I made a more generic action plan, linking that page also to the financial action plan.
- Before that I think I started with a page about leadership, like how to restore leadership in The Netherlands. This is where my idea of a Velvet Revolution came into being.
- Related to the idea of Velvet Revolution I realized I could just create or rewrite the original “Plakkaat van Verlatinghe” into a “Akte van Verlating v2.0”, so I started doing that. The latest version you can find here as a PDF.
- Revolution may be simple, but more important is what would happen after this revolution. So I started thinking about a legal framework for directly after the revolution.
- Next to all the above I created a ‘meta page’ about the “Plakkaat van Verlatinghe” and the “Akte van Verlating v2.0”.
